I love to use canvas bags! When I travel I always pick up a bag with the name of the place I went to, for example I have an “I heart NY” bag and a bag that says London and has the UK flag on it. The bags represent my travels and look great!

Favorite craft storage – I’m still looking for it! I have shelves and boxes and more boxes and tins and baskets and a small rolling cart and still it seems out of control. I keep thinking the perfect solution is out there!

I find that using storage pieces that are clear helps me in being able to always know whats inside of the storage piece…and this allows me to make better use of the countless things that I have…

I use photo boxes a LOT! Easy to decorate to fit your decor, they are inexpensive and they tend to hold up pretty well.

The most useful, and aesthetically appealing organization method I have is my Ribbon Rack! A friend and I got together and constructed a rack that holds 25 rolls of ribbons and hangs on the wall. Its the size of a large picture frame, with 4 rows of dowels (that pop in and out of the frame.) The ribbons just slide onto the dowels and pop into place, and then whenever I ever I need some ribbon, I just pick my color, pull on the loose end until its the length that I want, and that’s is!

I like to use The Container Store’s shoe boxes because they are clear, stackable and easy to move around.

I like to reuse/recycle so anything that I have on hand like baskets, and old microwave cart and tv stand, diaper boxes. I wish I was more organized! Maybe the prize should have been some organizational items! 🙂

I think clear storage on shelves is the way to go for craft stuff. I use a lot of paper so some of my storage is clear magazine holders. I also have several clear stacking bins and clamshell cases. It’s easy to find what you are looking for that way!

I also use clear storage rolling carts. My laundry room has two huge drawers that are full of fun little stuff. Mable crafts alot can you come and organize?

Favorite craft storage: The white cubes that fit together. I currently have 4 paper holders and 2 with 3 drawers each… LOVE it!

My best storage system is when I took an old armoire, like the one’s in a hotel, and I put cork board on the back and the side doors. I then put 2 ribbon racks in the top wholes and then put a row of 8 1/2×11 racks on the next level and then 8 racks of 12×12 paper holders. And on the doors I put hooks on both sides of the doors to hold scissors, tape, etc. And when I am not using it I just close the doors and I have a beautiful piece of furniture with all my scrapbooking stuff neatly inside.

I also like clear storage containers of varying sizes. Even though you can see inside I still like to label the outside so you know exactly what is waiting inside.

Well, I’m reorganizing my work space so this is a questions near and dear to my heart. Right now I have all my fabric and paper in the drawers of an old dresser that I re-did and keep current projects, yarn, thread, ribbon etc in various sized storage boxes from IKEA. I like that you can easily change the labels on them and they look uniform and tidy on a shelf.
