With the upcoming summer season, I foresee a lot of cotton candy being eaten. Fairs, amusement parks, the zoo….There’s something so iconic about the paper cone with swirled pink, blue or yellow cottony goodness piled on top. I was so excited to see that Avery Elle had a cute stamp set called Cotton Candy with lots of fun greetings—perfect for a summertime birthday!
Happy rainbows and whimsical unicorns are perfect for a little girl’s birthday card. For today’s project, I used a the Mama Elephant Over the Rainbow set that is chock full of whimsical icons perfect for the birthday girl!
Wedding season is just around the corner and having a stash of cards for the occasion can come in handy. For today’s project, I’m using a stamp set from Ranger called Letter It Wedding along with an embossing folder called Confetti Hearts to create an easy shaker greeting.
Cards with a little bit of an interactive element are always fun to receive. For today’s project, I’m using an action wobble to add some fun movement to a bright and cheerful birthday card.
Sometimes you just want to say “hi” and tell someone they make you happy. Today’s card is bright and cheerful with a hint of summer thrown in. All with the help of Fiskars’ Life is Sweet stamp set and some Summer Splash paper from Carta Bella.
I like to keep it simple when it comes to gift wrap and gift bags. I mainly have kraft colored and white options and dress them up with ribbon or other embellishments I have in my craft room. I recently discovered another great option for decorating packages. For today’s project, I created some pretty floral pieces using a die set from Sizzix/David Tutera called Lace Flower Framlits.
Hi Everyone! I’m back today with a project I made using a sketch as a jumpstart. I’ve spoken in a previous post about how I love to use sketches as a starting point, especially if I have a new stamp set that I want to try.
