I began my graphic design career over three decades ago, long before anyone ever thought of making what I create now: digital printables. I spent those years as a magazine art director and a freelance designer, and then eventually as an editor and writer. But after exploring all that, I found that what I love to do best is to create 3D paper art that allows people to express themselves and be creative. It’s very exciting to me when people tell me that they’ve made my printables with senior citizen groups or their children. To me, that usefulness is one of the true marks of my success.

Most of my work is distributed free but recently I started making expanded printables kits for sale. I also have a newsletter that distributes subscriber-only printables, which are free.

Hello Lovely Crafters!

My name is Jenny and I have been a crafting addict for over 20 years now. It’s rare that I go to bed without paint stains on my hand. Although I studied biology in school, I now have made the leap to try and grow my own business. I focus on decorative painting and fabric decoupage, but will try anything once. I love trying new techniques and sharing what I make with others.

I’m Lee, but often known as leethal around the web; I’m a maker of things, doer of stuff living in Portland, Oregon, with a main focus on designing original hand-knit accessories. I spend my time writing, designing, making, teaching, spinning, photographing, brainstorming, and creating. With a background in photography and art, and a love of color, puzzles, and experimentation, I bring all these elements into my creative work, as well as into my blog, do stuff!

I am currently combining my loves of recycled yarn making, knit accessory design, and music, into an ebook called Remixed. With 8 patterns, all designed with tons of versatility, making them great for unique yarns, this massive collection will include a wealth of knowledge I have accumulated over years of recycled yarn-making.

My name is Ryan, and I have been crafting and ‘hobbying’ as my business, halftone.tv, since summer 2010. Despite the common masculine use of my name, I am however a lady Ryan. ;]

I still work full-time as an e-commerce web developer for a local company here in Fargo, as I am not at the quit-my-day-job success I hope to one day achieve with my arts.

My creating really took off after I discovered the perils of purse-dom + going out; I thought, “there has to be a better way!”, and after scouring the internet for alternative ID/monies/CC storage for ladies and finding nothing (or nothing stylish), I decided to make a wrist wallet. Then, after going out wearing it and getting asked constantly where I got it, I thought it might be a fun adventure to try filling the swanky wrist wallet void of the universe. Once the creativity started flowing, I started adding more ideas and creations to the mix. I speak and write Chinese and figured I’d throw that in there too. I also stitch in many different techniques and decided to take a stab (har-har) at that as well. ;b

Anyway, in-between the bad puns and daily life, I’m just a small girl in a small craft room with a huge imagination. :]

Thank you for the opportunity to share that imagination through crafting (oh, yes, you bet I’ve purchased from you, and read the blog, and get the newsletter… oy! .
