I am a stay at home mom to three crazy boys ages 4, 6 and 8. I satisfy my chronically crafty side by teaching painting and art classes to kids ages 5-12 through my in-home business, Sociable Art Kids. As if that weren’t enough, I started Paper Daughter Crafts with my BFF (the mother of 2 boys) in the summer of 2012 as another creative outlet to combat the side-effects of living in an all male environment. The result? Whimsical and inspirational collage pieces that are designed almost exclusively for girls
We have been accepted into our very first juried arts and crafts festival this fall in Asheville, NC and hope to do many more in the upcoming years! Pieces are sold fully framed at affordable prices and prints/cards will be available fall 2012. All completed works and sale items are listed on the website, Paper Daughter Crafts.

I am Ellie. Wife. Mother to 3 little people. Crafter. I guess I’ve always enjoyed crafty things, but it wasn’t until a friend encouraged me to open an etsy store that I learned I could actually make money doing something I love! What a concept!
I also discovered I really, really like felt. And bright colors. And, just things that are happy and fun. And, so, with a box of felt and a cutting machine, my little etsy store “A Felt Affair” was born. I have since found much delight in making garlands and bunting, pinwheels, cupcake toppers and wrappers and most recently, chevron letters!
I have enjoyed being featured on Very Jane and Groopdealz several times. I’ve made so many garlands, I think I could do it in my sleep. My crowning accomplishment thus far? Having a garland featured in the upcoming Halloween edition of Taste of Home!
You can stop by and chat about crafty stuff on my Facebook Page. Or, see some of my creations for sale on etsy!

My wife and I have only recently started making and selling crafts. I myself have grown up in a family of crafters which ran a successful business for over 30 years. I was fortunate enough to get my wood crafting and painting abilities from my two creative parents. Shortly after my parents passed to Cancer, both within 5 years of each other, I decided to carry on the tradition. I have always loved making crafts and creating new and wonderful items from wood. Working in my shop is more like a vacation than work to me.
My wife and I have been doing craft shows for the past three years and love it. The people that we meet and the customers are just the best. Recently we started a blog in which we are trying to gain a little notice towards our Etsy shop. I would love to share some of my experiences with everyone. I have had over 30 years with my parents and 3 of my own. To me, Crafting is a way of life.

My daughter asked me to create a button bouquet for her 2010 wedding. She said, “I don’t want real flowers. I want a button bouquet! Please make it for me!” At first, I thought the idea was a little wacky however, encouraged by my daughter, I threw a button stringing party for the bridesmaids, served wine and cheese and created my first button bouquet! My daughter loved it and so did everyone else! My business, Angela’s Artistic Designs, was born creating bouquets for every theme, color and style. They are really works of art. Each one is custom created and culling the colors from all of my buttons is part of the creative process. I have so many buttons in my craft room!
I’ve been fortunate to have such wonderful brides – my button bouquets have made brides happy not only in North America, but around the world. Button bouquets make a wonderful keepsake too and brides like to put them on their mantle. For my daughter, I created a mini for the shadow box I made for her. Button bouquets can also be used as table centerpieces, gifts, desktop flowers, visiting a sick friend, housewarming gift. They are especially good for people with allergies. New moms enjoy a pink or blue one and they’re great for baby showers too. I love creating a new bouquets for holidays – for the 4th of July, Valentine’s Day, Christmas and Hanukkah. They really brighten up a desk at work!
The buttons for that first wedding were purchased from CreateForLess!
My motto – Button Bouquets are Elegance that Lasts Forever!

Hi! I am Patty Selah and I am a mother to 4 beautiful little girls ages 1-10! I LOVE to do all kinds of crafting and I am always thinking about what I can create next! I love the feeling of pride and individuality I feel when I see one of my ideas come to life! I love putting my heart into gifts for others and seeing their eyes light up when they receive a handmade gift.
My first passion was scrapbooking which I have been doing for about 15 years. You might have seen a couple of my layouts in the top 25 of the CreateForLess Scrapbook Layout Contest in June 2012. I have also been featured on the csi:colorstoriesinspiration watch list in June 2012.
While scrapbooking was my first passion, it has blossomed into a love of all crafts. I just started a site called Craftpicks! It currently houses tutorials for a wide variety of craft ideas and will continue to grow. My hope is to create a Community of Creativity where creative souls can come together and teach each other about their passion for crafting.

Back in 1992, I was a single mom making my living as a graphic designer, working out of the back of a printer’s warehouse. Mild-mannered brochure designer by day, right?…but upon getting home to my garage and my Secret Stash of ribbon, punches and cardstock I …I succumbed to Invitations Frenzy. Waking myself up in the middle of the night asking myself, what’s a Baronial? Sneaking fonts on diskette home from work in my purse…lurking around Hallmark stores buying cards just so I could scan them, violating as many as twenty copyrights a day…

In 1994 my doctor told me I had early-stage Glitter Lung and urged me to quit. Instead, I started a company called Artiface, cutting back on the brochures in favor of weddings and bar mitzvahs, meeting with clients in the conference room of my new husband’s Extreme Sports ad agency. My brides and bar mitzvah moms had to navigate a thicket of BMX bicycles, skateboards and Fender Strats to get to me, but they kept coming.
“Get a room”, my husband finally told me, so I did, a little studio in a Wedding Design Center. By now it’s grown into a 1400-square-foot showroom and workshop and some truly impressive gear that you have an excuse to buy when you … Okay, I became a dealer. Not only do I now get to papercraft for a living, but I employ a couple of likewise obsessed women and pay them to do it, too.
