This shell doll is a fun craft to do in the summer. Especially if you have just come back from the beach and have collected lots of shells.
With summer in full swing, you’re likely to have seen your fair share of pool noodles. These inexpensive toys are a go-to for your little fishies, but they’re so easy to find that it’s not too surprising we crafters have found other uses for them. Check out some of my favorite ways to make something new out of a pool noodle.
This pool noodle wreath base is indestructible and so inexpensive. Use some scrap fabric and add color with felt flowers.

Whenever I think about Father’s Day, I automatically think about ties. I’m sure not all Dads love getting ties every year, but it seems to be the first thing on everyone’s mind. Why not shake things up a little bit by giving ties that have a whole other purpose? Here are some of my favorite ideas.
Run to a thrift store to pick out a tie that matches Dad’s personality and sew up a glasses case in no time. It’s a really useful tie gift and you can get a crazier tie pattern since Dad doesn’t have to wear it.
