October 5th is World Teacher’s Day. Celebrate your favorite teacher or teachers with this fun diorama card. They’re easy to make so if you need more than one it won’t be a problem. It will actually be a lot of fun!
It’s getting to be that time of year again. Even very young children can feel the hectic excitement in the air and anticipate the approaching change to their schedules. It can be a scary experience, especially for kids just starting school, but it can also be exciting and fun. As you’re navigating back to school shopping for school supplies and clothes you can also help your kids prepare for the new school year with crafts, activities and imaginative play!
If you haven’t made a time capsule with the family yet, the end of summer and start of a new school year is a great time to do so. Encourage the kids to choose trinkets from the summer, photos and notes about yourself (favorite colors, best friends, new friends, goals for the school year, favorite joke, etc.) These will be so much fun to open next year (or at the time that you choose).
Here’s an easy craft project to add a little fun to back-to-school, or just a cute project to do with the kids in your life. Make them for yourself, or give them to your friends; either way, these pencil pets will brighten your day!
As terrifying as it is, school time is fast approaching. Personally, I’ll be moving into my new apartment for the school year within the next week and as I prepare for my final year as an undergrad, I know it will be filled with late night stresses and early morning classes. One thing I know will brighten any morning time drowsiness is to have school supplies that are not only functional, but personalized. These crafts are the perfect way to add something extra to a school day that will make me happy to take out my pencils and hit the books for one more year.
This recipe book could easily be used as notebook instead. Not only will this book be a great way to create a personalized school supply, it will be lighter then the average notebook and pages won’t tear out as easily. I would happily keep my notes for classes if I could line up notebooks like this on my shelf after they were over.
It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again and school is just around the corner. It won’t be long and you will be taking and receiving school pictures. You can be ready to scrap all of those wonderful smiling faces with this cute layout that can be used to capture the special memories of the first day, the first year or the class photos. This layout can be created ahead of time so all you need to do is add the pictures and journaling.
Are you a teacher looking for some fun new creative ideas to use with your lessons? Are you a parent who is hoping to send a little note to in your student’s lunch to let them know that you are proud? No matter what the case, these back to school envelopes are a fun addition to your plans.
