Free Stuff Friday!!

Happy Friday! We have almost made it through another week! This week I hope I get to help someone try something new, or something perhaps they haven’t done in a long time.  Macrame is back my friends, and one lucky crafter will get to try it with this Solid Oak Three Flowers Macrame Wall Hanging Kit!

Solid Oak’s Macrame DIY home decor is a retro art form with modern style. A few simple knots and you get an amazing piece of wall art that will last for years. Create it by yourself to decompress or have a macrame party with some friends. This kit includes: Lots of 2mm, off-white cord, natural wood branch with bark for a unique hanging rod, copper-finish accent tubes, and clear instructions that walk you through each knot.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced on Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: If you could live in any sitcom, which one would it be?

The 70’s Show…. I laugh when I watch the older are-runs. I did macrame as a child in 4-H. I would love to try it again!

I would live with the Waltons. It was such a simpler time when families were close and people did not have to have things to make them happy. Was it easy? No. But you learned to be creative with what you had.

Family dinner time was for families to gather and enjoy a home cooked meal together and talk about their day. Parents sure didn’t have to be concerned about electronics at the dinner table.

I think IThe Andy Griffith Show. Andy was always steady as a rock. Never was quite ruffled. Gave out wisdom and patience. You had Barney to to give comic relief and And just the right zaniness. . Opie was sweet and innocent as we wish little kids could be these days. And You had Aunt Bea to balance between Andy and the town. I always wanted to sit down. At their table eat a meal.

I wish I was living in the Andy Griffith Show… but I feel like I am living in “Soap” and I am Jessica Tate!

One Day at a Time. I could identify with all the characters and my Mom said I looked like Valerie Bertinelli. She also said I looked like Tatum O’Neal. Um..I didn’t look at bit like either one, but okay.

I know it sounds silly, but I would have loved to live in Bewitched. It would have been so much fun with beloved characters and lots of excitement. It was one of my favourite shows.

  7. Kelly OBrien

Maybe The Dick Van Dyke Show. It seems like it would be a nice escape to a simpler time, with the support of good friends, a loving family, and all your problems tied up in a short period of time. Even the infamous walnut episode (“I SEEEEEE you!”) turned out fine after its little trip into the Twilight Zone.

Father knows best would have to so far from the truth but Dad was very cool to have around but he did not know best and he told us that every day. He push education because he never got it because he had to work on the farm at age 12 full time.

Mine would be Happy Days. I love the music and all of the cool hot rod cars. Even the “FONZ”.

Cheers or the Golden Girls would be my choices. There have been so many good ones it is hard to pick just one.

Night Court – omg that was such a funny show! So many to choose from, but that would have to be my number one!
