Snow globes are a Christmas staple in my opinion.  They have the cutest little scenes inside, and when you shake them up, the magic begins!  For today’s project, I created a little snow globe-style card using this Gingerbread House Stamp and Cut set from Hero Arts.

I started off by heat embossing the little houses onto some green and red card stock using white embossing powder.  I love the little scalloped details!

To create the “snowy” background, I die cut a circle, then pressed my Versamark ink pad over the top covering it with ink.  I then heat embossed Ranger Holographic embossing powder on the entire piece.

Using foam tape, I adhered the houses to the circle, then the entire piece to an A2 sized white notecard.  I tucked a sentiment from the stamp set underneath the houses to complete the card.  The iridescent look of the powder really does look like fresh snow!

Thanks so much for joining me today!
