It’s almost Turkey Season and I’m sharing with you guys an adorable Thanksgiving craft perfect for toddlers and preschoolers! These Clothespin Turkey Puppets are super fun to make and the instructions are easy enough for the little ones to follow.
- Colored permanent markers , crayons, or colored pencils
- Feathers (orange, yellow, red)
- Popsicle sticks
- Hot glue gun and glue stick
Using the colored permanent markers (you can use crayons or colored pencils with little kids) draw a wattle and a snood on the clothespin and the eyes. The clothespin should have the opening part at the top.
Pick your feathers, as many as you’d like and clip them with the clothespin to create a beautiful, colorful tail.
Now heat up your hot glue gun and glue the popsicle stick to the bottom of the clothespin turkey to make a puppet.
