Background dies make it so easy to create multiple cards in one sitting.  For today’s project, I’m using the wonderfully modern Retro Repeats die set from Sizzix to put together some quick thank you cards.

To create each background, I took a 4 ¼ x 5 ½” white card panel and die cut each shape into it three times going across.

To add a pop of color, I adhered colorful vellum from Paper Accents to the back of each panel.

Tombow Aqua glue works really well, but you could use tape runner too.

For a sentiment, I die cut the Thank You from the Sizzix Thank You Drop-In Set.  I colored each thank you with Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Spiced Marmalade, then adhered them to a rectangle of white cardstock.

I popped each panel up on a white note card at various angles using foam tape, then added my sentiment.

That colored vellum adds such a nice touch to the fun retro die cuts.

Thanks so much for joining me today!
