Diamond facet art kits by Diamond Dotz and Diamond Art offer a relaxing way to create beautiful designs! Here are some accessories and storage ideas for projects.

We carry kits by Diamond Dotz and Diamond Art – in numerous designs and varying levels of difficulty. Both offer kits with premium quality crystals (13 facets), fabric, adhesive, and printing. Similar to cross stitch and color-by-number, designs are filled in by sparkly, color-coded multifaceted resin crystals.

Accessories

The Diamond Dotz Accessory Pack provides two extra trays, applicators, and wax in caddies. The Diamond Art Accessories Kit contains similar items – either will work. The extra trays were helpful because I found I liked to label and use 3 trays at a time when filling in an area. Additional supplies enables more than one person to work on a design at a time.

Storage

The color-coded bags of crystals that come in the kit are not resealable. It is helpful to have small recloseable plastic bags to put them in – but the few bags provided are usually inadequate for a larger project. Darice Craft Designer Reclosable Storage Bags 2 x 3 in. 100 pc. Clear would provide extra bags for the crystals. It works well to write the color code and the symbol on the plastic bag.

The Darice Bead Organizer 9 1/2 x 6 3/8 x 1 1/8 in. with 24 Containers, Darice Bead Organizer 6 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 1 1/4 in. with 30 Containers or …

Darice Storage Case 9 7/8 x 7 1/8 x 1 7/8 in. with Scoop and Tweezers 55 pc. would be other ways to store crystals.

The Diamond Dotz Dossier Organizer comes in blue, pink, purple, and black. It is designed to hold the design canvas and all the supplies.

Good light is important. A portable LED light would be a handy light source.

When the diamond painting project is finished, it helps to secure the crystals to the adhesive with some pressure. After covering the project with the protective plastic film. you can use a book or rolling pin to press on the crystals. A brayer like the Cricut Brayer would work as well.

Hope these ideas are helpful!
