This Octopus craft is a super easy and fun craft idea for kids. It incorporates fine motor skills, concentration and creativity, making this an awesome classroom craft!

You’ll need:

Step one:

Free-hand draw the body of the octopus on a solid colored cardstock and cut out.

Step two:

Cut long strips of cardstock (approximately 25 per octopus).

Step three:

Take one strip of cardstock, wrap to make a loop and glue together. Make a chain using about 4-5 strips of cardstock, alternating colors and patterns.

Step four:

Glue the chains to the bottom of the octopus and add the buttons for the eyes.

Isn’t this octopus adorable and sweet looking with all the colors and patterns?
