With Mother’s Day around the corner, this Cactus card featuring your little ones very own handprint is the perfect gift to any mommy out there. It’s a fun card-making idea for kids and they’ll love creating it!

You’ll need:

Start by folding the white cardstock in half to make a card.

Using the paintbrush, brush on the green paint onto the palm of your child. Make sure to get every bit of the palm at a nice even layer. Now stamp the childs’ hand onto the front of the card midway. Let dry and rinse the paintbrush. *Make sure to wash your childs’ hand so they can continue making the card.

While the cactus is drying, make the flower pot. Using the craft scissors cut out a flower pot out of the brown cardstock. Glue at the botton of the cactus handprint.

Next, using a clean paintbrush and pink washable kids paint, add a small flower to each cacti right at the tip. Then using the yellow washable kids paint, add small needles all over (kids can certaintly do this step). Let dry.

You’re done! Now your child can write a little message inside, address it, etc.
