Create some sweet springtime friends with this easy tutorial.  These little chickies make a great addition to an Easter basket, or just sitting around as springtime décor.

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

To begin, for each chick, choose two pom-poms.  Glue the pom-poms together so you have a little pom-pom “peanut” for each chick you’re making.

Glue two tiny black pom-poms onto the chick’s head.

Cut a tiny diamond out of the orange felt.  Fold it in half, and glue it, fold side down, between the chick’s eyes.

For the chick’s feet, cut a small heart from your felt.  For the chick’s wings, cut a skinny oval, about 1/2-inch long by 1/4-inch wide.  Cut in half, so you have two small wings.

Glue the heart onto the bottom of the chick’s body so the pointed end sticks out toward the back for the tail.  Glue the wings onto the sides of the body so the rounded end sticks down.

Now enjoy your sweet little flock of colorful peepers!

Happy crafting!
