Using Q-Tips to create a beautiful Christmas Tree Art is exciting and engaging. Kids will exercise and improve their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration- all important skills to develop in young children. They’ll also learn colors and work on their own imagination and creativity.
- Cardstock (white, green)
- Washable kids paint (green, red, yellow)
- Craft scissors
- Paper plate
Using the green (any color) cardstock, cut out a Christmas tree. Folding the paper in a half and cutting it out that way makes a more uniform Christmas tree.
Place the Christmas Tree stencil over the white cardstock right in the middle. Add a dallop of each paint color to the paper plate and add the q-tips.
Using the Q-Tips and green paint, let the child stamp dots over the white cardstock and Christmas tree stencil.
Decorate the tree using other colors and Q-Tips.
