My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving since it gives a time to select on all the things I am thankful for in my life. Plus I get to spend the day with family and friends and eat a great meal.

  2. Sandy Bonesteel

My favorite holiday is Christmas, and getting together with family. That becomes more precious to me as ttime goes by.

  3. Linda Barnum

My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. I love all the beautiful lights and decorations, all the festivities and excitement, spending time w/family and friends AND the best part is it lasts for an entire month!

  4. Kathy Walker

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I remember when all 5 of us kids were opening presents. Wrapping paper everywhere and everyone so excited.

2 years ago I started a new Christmas tradition of making a Gingerbread House with my first Grandson, now 4. I know this had an impact on him because he asks about making it thru the year. This year his 2-year old sister will join us in the sticky, sugary fun while listening to Christmas music.

  6. Janet

My favorite tradition is being with my family and grandchildren. I love seeing them in matching pajamas Christmas night.

  7. Lisa Johnston

My favorite tradition is reminiscing about past Christmas events. Like how we were to poor for a tree, so we made one out of paper and taped it to the wall.

  8. FrancineB

My favorite holiday is Christmas because of how nice people are to others. Give me hope for the future.

  9. Brenda Lieswald

My favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day because no family members expect a valentine but really surprised the year I make them all something hearty shaped.

  10. Kitten WAW

In winter my favorite holiday is Independence day, because it’s warm. In the middle of a hot, hot summer, it’s Christmas, because it’s cold. Any time of year, it’s Hallowe’en because CANDY!!!!!!!

My favorite tradition for Christmas was my mom making a pull-apart bread in the morning. She used a boxed dough mix, (I think Pillsbury). She made balls out of the dough, layering them into a tube pan, with cherry pie filling in between, sprinkling slivered almond around. It was a treat for all of us, as we never did “sweets” in the morning. My only spin off has been to use the crescent roll dough and sprinkling in some cinnamon and nutmeg. Still yummy, still Christmas morning!

Christmas still wins out! The only thing that has changed for us is the location, our traditions travel with us! Christmas Eve is a magical time for us, food, company, and lights.

  13. Laura

Christmas traditions are the best! I love doing the holiday baking, looking at christmas lights, and decorating the tree! I have the best memories with this!

My favorite tradition and something that’s very near and dear to my heart is, helping those that are less fortunate. Every year we find a family that has fallen on hard times at Christmas. Without their knowledge we purchase gifts for the kids and mom and dad get a little something too. We provide a complete meal for Christmas dinner and also provide a tree and ornaments for it, if they don’t have one. We surprise the mom and dad a couple of weeks before Christmas, just in case they want to use the gifts as gifts from Santa.
Another tradition that’s close to my heart is, we started teaching our girls that it’s better to give than receive. We go through their toys, clothes, and shoes, they decide what they want to give away, (they are gently used and in very good condition), and donate to families that post online looking to buy gently used items for Christmas. When I meet up with them, I surprise them and don’t charge anything for the stuff, plus it’s fun to add in some extra for the kids and mom and dad too!

Christmas is my favorite. I love everything about it especially the family coming together for fellowship and celebration.

    This kit looks so fun!
Christmas is my favorite! I get to spend the day with my daughter and her boyfriend!

  17. BarbMac Vt

Birthdays are my favorite holiday because you get to honor the guest of honor and make them feel extra special on their special day!

  18. Debi

My favorite holiday is probably Thanksgiving….but that’s mostly because it feels like Christmas. 🙂 My dad comes from a huge family (I have 76 first cousins alone!), and we all get together over the Thanksgiving weekend to eat lots of food and let the kids have a blast. It’s stressful and awkward sometimes, but still a pretty awesome thing.

  19. Aurora Millward

Christmas is my favorite holiday, because I get to be with my family, give, and get presents.

  20. Nancy

Thanksgiving is my fave holiday with 4th of July a close second! Fun holidays spent with family and friends without the stress! I do like all the other holidays…except Valentines day! Just no a fan of that one! :0/

  21. Randi Millward

Christmas is my favorite holiday. Instead of a big ham dinner, we make a bunch of appetizers and dips to have for our meals. The kids like this much better! We do different things. The kids give their input. They usually request taco dip, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, buffalo chicken dip, jalapeno popper dip, pizza dips, and various chips and crackers. Also, a fruit tray and veggie tray, olives and pickles. Lots of things we can pick at all through the day.

  22. Judy

I’d say Christmas is my new favorite. New because it’s usually stressful in preparations for the whole family to be at my (tiny) house. But, beginning this year, we have begun meeting the holidays at our sons’ house. Yay! Less fuss

  23. Mary Struck

My favorite holiday is Christmas, cutting down a fresh tree, the smells of buttery short bread baking in the oven , fresh fudge and delightful spritz cookies! The best part of the holiday? My family. Going to church together, the grandkids delightful laughter and squeals of delight while they open gifts. It’s the best time of the whole year!

  24. Maria Shehan

Favorite traditions…attend Midnight Mass then eat some snacks before going to bed…in the morning prepaid food, sing Christmas songs, eat, then open presents youngest to oldest, watch football then eat more, afterwards we play card games.

  25. Simonne Zehr

Definitely Christmas is my favorite holiday. Coming from a large family it is the only time we can all get together. We have to rent a hall and it is so wonderful to have so many family members all in one place.

  26. Cynthia L Minyard

My favorite holiday is Valentines. I collect hearts and I love to surprise the people in my life with different gifts and meanings to tell them how I care about them. For the love of my life I do chocolate covered strawberries and make a awesome dinner either befor or after the 14th since we generally are working. I usually surprise him with something special delivered to the office. He says the very best gift was the book that I write in everyday entitled 100 reasons why I love him.

  27. Carla Jo Worth

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Getting to dress up as a hero or villain or something out of this world. The time when the Veil thins and the spirits of our ancestors are able to speak to us more clearly.

  28. Katie Amodio

Oh, please yes! I really want to try these gorgeous colors! My husband is GRUMPY and this would ease the suffering. Ha!

  29. Jean Marmo

I love Christmas because we have so many traditions from hunting and chopping the perfect tree ( in the snow and cold with kids whining and complaining) to dated ornaments each year to frosting cookies but my favorite is the photos with Santa. When my kids got to be teens they refused to go so I bought a santa suit so my husband got dressed up and we did them at home:)

  30. Kelly OBrien

I love the way our family does Christmas, which I didn’t realize was unusual growing up. We have Christmas for our immediate family on Christmas Eve night, so we get that quality time in before all the hustle and bustle really starts (and round one of presents.) Christmas morning is all about what Santa brought (round two of presents.) Then Christmas Day is for the extended family and we all gather at Grandma’s house (usually another gift as a bonus) for great food and fun times with all the cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.. I come from a close knit family, and we make an effort to ensure the kids have extra special memories of Christmas to carry with them and pass on to the next generation. Even little details matter, like how we’d have wrapping paper for our family gifts, but Santa always had different wrapping paper his elves used for gifts from him. No matter how tight the budget is, making sure Christmas memories are treasured is the focus.

  31. Jola L.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Love the bright colors, lights, bling and I enjoy coming up with new handmade gifts and ornaments each year. This paint set would be handy to get a head start on next year’s gifts!

  32. Dawn Swinson

I have been making white cheesy enchiladas for our family get together on Christmas Eve for years. Everyone loves them. This is the second year our son and D-I-L have been divorced (very sad Mimi) so our schedule for celebrating has had to change. I was talking to my grandsons aged 10, 11 & 13 and discussing dinner this year which will actually happen on the 23rd due to schedules. I mentioned the chicken enchiladas and was met with such enthusiasm that, YES! I definitely needed to make the enchiladas no matter what day we celebrated, that they loved them and they were soooo yummy! This warmed my heart so much! I love that the little traditions mean so much to them!

  33. Betty

Easter is my favorite holiday! It is such a refreshing time of year. I love the Easter music at church as we celebrate the fact that Jesus has risen!

  34. Gail Plaskiewicz

I think my favorite holiday is Christmas. Our family is all together, we get presents, the house is all decorated & Christmas music is playing. My dad died last March 20th 2017 so he will be missed again this year. Also our Lord was born on Christmas. What could be better?
Thanks for giving us the chance to win something. This looks so cool!

  35. Linda Kernodle

My favorite tradition is one we started when we had our first grandchild. We go to our oldest daughters house for Christmas morning breakfast.

  36. Jean Snider

The best Holiday is one spent with our daughter and her family. When we lived out-of-state and came to visit, I made pull-apart cinnamon rolls for them each Holiday morning (Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas). Now that we live in the same town, a mile down the road, the grandkids still request the pull-apart rolls for the Holiday morning.

  37. Bunny Parcher

I always love the memories of my original family (7 kids) gathering on Christmas Eve. We were happy to get any kind of gift. Best memory is our mom singing “Silent Night” in German. Our grandparents migrated to California in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. No one ever learned to sing it like mom. Memories make the holiday special.

  38. smfsprout

My favorite holiday is Christmas. My weird favorite tradition is onion dip and potatoe chips on Christmas night while watching a Christmas movie. Don’t judge. Lol

  39. Patricia

We open Christmas presents in order of age. Going from youngest to oldest. Before we started this it was a royal mess with paper flying and screams running and no one could see or hear anything.

  40. Peggy Melott

My family tradition is spending Christmas Eve with my children and grandchildren touring Grapevine Texas and finishing up the evening driving through the Texas motor speedway looking at their Festival of Lights.
