These pumpkins are adorable and kids will have lots of fun creating them. All you need is some basic art supplies and a toilet paper roll and you’ve got yourself the perfect craft for Fall.
- Toilet paper roll
- Washable paint (orange)
- Foam brush
- Pipe cleaners (green)
- Hot glue gun (or tape, like I’ve used)
- Paper plate
Cut about an inch off the toilet paper from one side, to make it smaller. Now cut 5-6 slits on both of the ends (approx. 1/2 inch slit and 1/2 inch apart).
Slightly bend together all of the slits and tape or hot glue them together. Do the same on the other side. You’ll now have a pumpkin ready to be painted.
Prepare your paint by squeezing a little bit onto a paper plate. Paint the pumpkins and let dry.
Take your pipe cleaners and bend them around your pointer finger to create a pumpkin vine. Once your pumpkins are dry, add the green vine by hot gluing it or tucking is in underneath the slits.
Enjoy these little pumpkins as handmade Fall décor!
