My kids beg for fish tacos……I also shorten up the prep time by purchasing prebattered frozen fish and preshredded coleslaw. Then all I have to do is make the sauce and heat the tortillas. By having quick dinner ideas it leaves me more time to craft, somehow I never have more time to clean.

    Taco salads usually…
Sometimes breakfast scramble since we have one own chickens for eggs

Favorite dish to make is soup! Recipe for chicken noodle soup made with boxed broth, leftover roasted chicken, shredded carrots, parsley and the secret: a couple thin slices of ginger root. Salt & pepper to taste. Fast & delicious.

This family loves pasta so spaghetti is always on the menu. And I make enough for leftovers because it always tastes better on the second day!

This time of the year, it’s soups and stews – taco soup; ham, beef, or chicken and vegetables in stew with homemade tomato sauce if it’s not already gone, homemade chicken noodle, etc.

That’s an interesting question. I seriously had to ponder this and my answer is….no one dish is a go to dish. Reason being….we love trying new recipes and flavors from all cultures. I was given a new pressure cooker recently and am excited to actually try it out and then you had this cookbook giveaway! Thank you for another awesome giveaway opportunity!

Casserole made in pressure cooker (it is the only thing I know how to make in the pressure cooker!)
    cubed raw chicken
diced veggies (onion, celery, whatever you have on hand!)
    1/2 c. any grated cheese
12 oz raw macaroni (any kind)
    1 tbsp olive oil
    salt, pepper, cayenne to taste
1/2 c. coconut milk, (optional but if you leave it out, add 1/2 cup water)
    2 cups water.

select 15 minutes on pressure cooker, enjoy!

My go to dish to make during the week is a toss up between (A) Chicken and Chorizo Risotto.Tasty, filling and quick to make, or (B) Chilli Con Carne over Jacket Potato and Salad. Warming and satisfying. Both are favourites. Makes me feel hungry just thinking about them.

My go to dish is usually a chicken curry or chicken with a red sauce and I would love to have some more interesting recipes.

My favorite Go to meal of the week is baked chicken breast, but after doing a whole chicken in the Instant pot, it has become a new favorite done with any vegetable in the microwave, simple and quick. Just got my Instant pot and need to learn a few more recipes in it.

I don’t have a go to meal since I never really learned to cook. I like to try this Insta pot and maybe I could learn.

Our favourite go to dish is chicken and potatoes cooked with celery, onions, soya sauce, garlic, honey and anise. Served over steamed rice. Can never make enough to feed the family 🙂 . This is made easily with the insta pot. Would love to have more family recipes.

The go-to meal when I haven’t prepped anything for dinner is a quick pizza. If I’m having fun and deciding what to make in advance, then my go-to meal is a Tator Tot Casserole. You can see why I need some recipe inspiration for the Instant Pot!

I have wanted an insta-pot for some time and will be getting one soon. RV’ers have given great reviews on it. I’ll use it in the RV while traveling and in the house when we’re home. This recipe book would be a great start! Thank you for the chance to win it! I Love CFL!

Go to meal is usually chicken, starch and a green vegetable.

I just purchased an Instant Pot; a cookbook to go with would be great!

  16. Jean Snider

Our go to dish is Goulash! It’s always filling and I always make extra to last a few extra days.
