I bought an old ceramic planter, exactly like the one Mom had. I was thrilled to find it as we lost Mom 43 years ago. Then for my sister’s birthday, I gave it to her. She was touched. That’s a lot of mileage out of one purchase.

My favorite purchase of the year is a foldable wagon to help me schlepp all my craft fair items to the fair. So much easier than lugging everything from the car!

The favorite purchase I made this year is a Christmas Collage Card Making Set which will not only make beautiful cards, but will make them quick and easy to do!

I bought some new Quilter’s Select Rulers and some BlocLoc HST Rulers. They have changed my life. The QS rulers are truly non-slip so my cuts are so much more accurate, saving me valuable fabric. Then the BlocLoc HST rulers are genius. Once you sew the the HST, you place the ruler channel on your diagonal seam, it locks in place and you trim your block to the proper size. Again, another tool that improves my cutting accuracy. I am convinced that the proper tool improves our skill and makes quilting easier and more enjoyable.
