It’s another fabulous Friday. I hope you all are doing great and got to be crafty this week, but let’s get right to the giveaway.  This week we are giving away a We R Memory Keepers USB Heat Tool. Good luck!

We R Memory Keepers USB Heat Tool Kit includes a heat tool, fusing tip, wood burning tip, and tool stand. Use the fusing tip to make seams in plastic, and create custom page protector layouts. Use the wood burning tip to create customized wood embellishments.

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced on Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first?

I do like to leave the frosting until the end so I guess I eat the cupcake first. LOL

  2. GabriellaB

I just want the frosting, especially if it’s my mom’s homemade frosting. Her frosting is the best. BTW thanks for a tool giveaway. We R memory keepers makes the best tools

Enjoying a cupcake is a multi-process….first, one must take a whole bite encompassing both icing and cake, to enjoy the total flavor. Then nibble on the icing, savoring the flavor, continue by tasting the cake without the icing. Complete the experience by eating the cake until you have a “muffin-top, then slowly eat the small amount of cake with lots of icing !

  4. Marina Youldon

Eating it all! Eat the bottom nipping at the icing at the same time and then eat the top with all the icing left over!

  5. Bessie

It all depends if it is chocolate! I am a chocoholic! I am the cake lover over icing usually. Thank you for the opportunity to win! This is something I really want! Again, thank you. I’d love a cupcake this morning!

  6. Abigail

My system is to cut off the bottom and flip it onto the top of the frosting and then eat the whole thing like a cake sandwich with frosting in the middle!

  7. Elaine Young

I prefer eating the icing first…… in fact, maybe I’d eat just the icing!!

  8. Judy

I like them together. With ice cream. But if I had to choose, the cake would go first.

  9. Heidi Sagel

I always take the bottom off the cupcakes and then eat the frosting with the top half …..

  10. Juanita

Like the old song goes: “You can’t have one without the other”…I eat both together!

  11. connie robinson

To be totally honest, I scrape off the frosting and then eat the cupcake…WHAT!!

  12. jean gray

I kinda eat the two together, Love frosting but love cupcakes too. Especially if they are chocolate ,

  13. Kelly Anderson

Have to say both at the same time. Frosting is too sweet otherwise. Although if you ask my grandkids it would be frosting all the way lol.

  14. Norma

I like to slice the bottom half of the cupcake off put it on top of the icing making a cupcake sandwich. That way I get both cake & icing in each bite.

  15. Pat Yackie

I like a lot of icing. I eat some of the cake. If it is a little dry (like most I have had) i then eat it altogether. I like to eat at least some of the icing by itself last.

  16. Laura

Both! The best way I’ve seen to eat a cupcake is to take the top off and flip it over so the frosting is in the middle…. I don’t do that though so maybe that’s why I decided to always have a treat in the middle of the cupcakes I make. Then you get the best of everything in each bite!

  17. Mary Mac

Depends on the frosting. Butter Cream and Chocolate frosting are gone before the cupcake.

  18. Linda Duke

I’ve tried to answer this in my own mind, however each time I do the answer is the same. I don’t eat one first then the next I actually eat them at same time. But I have been known (after asking family) to add extra frosting that I get from plate, while eating a cup cake also when eating cake.

  19. Vanessa Antonsen

It usually depends on the type of cupcake, fancy pretty ones I’ll eat the cupcake first then the frosting but for regular delicious cupcakes typically I like to get everything in my mouth for the full effect!

  20. Kathi

I would eat either if I could. I cannot have any sugar so the question unfortunately is mute. I would LOVE to eat a cupcake however. Thanks.

  21. kimgyu

I eat everything together. I enjoy how the flavors mix together. Buttercream frosting is my favorite!

  22. Jenn Perez

I kind of start with the cake but if they are the small cupcakes I eat them both at the same time

  23. Brenda Lieswald

Remove the frosting and just eat the cupcake or don’t let the frosting touch the cupcake at all.

  24. Jenny Zakoski

I like eating the cupcake with the frosting !! But not too much frosting 🙂

  25. Bonnie Rabon

I must say I prefer eating them together. What’s a cupcake without it’s frosting? 🙂

  26. Laura Lunsford

Eat both at the same time, although if the icing is too gooey I skip it entirely.

  27. Hope Kirkpatrick

cupcakes are a favorite Vanilla cake bottoms and cream cheese icing best bitten together.

  28. Betty

Depends on the amount of chocolate in the icing. If it has loads of chocolate, I save the icing for last, because it will be the best part! If no chocolate, I might not even eat the icing. The cupcakes get eaten no matter what!

  29. Andrea D

Frosting first…I like the sweet but need the balance provided by the lesser sweet cake. Plus, what would I do with the frosting while eating the cake first? Hold it in my hand? I think not…too messy. LOL! FYI: I am a landscaper so getting messy isn’t really the issue, it’s the sticky part that truly bugs me. heehee

  30. Dianne G.

I like getting a bit of icing on every bite of cake so I eat them together. Great giveaway! I have been wanting a heat tool since I saw one demonstrated.

  31. Isabel

I cut the bottom of the cupcake and put it on top of the frosting, so frosting is in the middle… that way you enjoy all the goodness! Yum!

  32. Maria Robinson

If I had my choice I would just eat the frosting, but usually I eat them both together until the last bite and then I’ll eat the cake part so my last bite is only frosting.

  33. Marsha

Both together, but last bite must be mostly frosting! When my boys were teens, and I did cake decorating, I would hide the leftover frosting in the freezer to use another time…or so I thought. I’d come home to no frosting in the freezer, even when I put the container in a brown bag and labeled it “dog scraps”! They ate that buttercream frosting frozen. Of course it only took one time and I was on to their game. We all still like to laugh about it when we’re together.

  34. Belinda Gresham

I prefer to eat them anyway i can get them but extra frosting is awesome, i usually lick of a lil frosting 1st, then just shove most of it in my mouth, lol, awesome give away, id looooove to win one of these! Imagine the possibilities??!!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

  35. ELEANOR

i take a couple licks of the frosting first, & then finish off eating both together. however, if the cupcake is from my baker cousin, who makes the best butter cream frosting ever, the frosting doesn’t last as long as the cupcake : )
