Free Stuff Friday!!

Happy Friday and Happy Opening Day of the Olympics! If you need me during the next to weeks you can find me in front of the tv watching random sports that I would never otherwise watch…like curling.

I always like to give away some of our new items that have recently been added to our store, and this week is no exception. We just added FIVE new colors of Dylusions Paint, and I loved them all so much that one lucky ready is going to win ONE of each!

Ranger Dylusions Paints are easily blendable yet waterproof, dry quickly to a matte finish, and accept all types of writing inks. Easy clean up with warm water and soap. This paint is not too thick or too thin. Blendable acrylic. Features a wide mouth jar, perfect for art tools, brushes and fingers alike. (New colors are Peony Blush, Periwinkle Blue, Laidback Lilac, Mushy Peas and Vanilla Custard!)

Every Friday we’ll post a giveaway on Think Crafts and all you have to do is comment on the blog post answering the question of the week. We’ll pick the winners and contact them via email. Deadline is midnight tonight and the winner will be announced on Monday. One entry per person please.

Question of the week: If you could be an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in?

I would like to be an ice skater. Feel free and flying like the wind. No wheelchair and no walker restrictin me.
Love this prize, the colors are beautiful and great for mix media.

  2. Abigail

Since watching Cool Runnings as a kid I have had a special place in my heart for the Bobsled events!

  3. Penelope Davis

I would compete in the ski jumping. I like the idea of sliding down the ramp and launching yourself into the air soaring like a bird for those few seconds and trying to make that perfect landing.

  4. Denise Bryant

Love the yummy colors of the Dylusions Paints!
I’m excited to see the opening ceremonies tonight! Always a thrill to watch!
I love seeing the graceful figure skaters. If I could participate, that’s what I’d love to do!

Oh my – aren’t these lovely! If I were an olympic athlete, i would be a cross country skiier. But I would be last because I don’t go fast or up any hills.

  6. Emily B

Gorgeous colours – the Vanilla Custard colour is both classic but softly different! The Winter Olympics are so graceful, I have come to enjoy so many of the sports (even more than the Summer sports!) But I have always and always will wish to figure skate. I love it.

  7. Trisha

Tough question!! I love the ice skating,
but I’m not graceful! But I like to go fast so I would say the bobsled!!

  8. Stella

Figure Skating in Winter and Gymnastics in Summer . . .
I absolutely LOVE these colors you are offering!
    Thank you!!!

Dance! They say it’s not a sport and it’s not in the Olympics yet but I’ve done tons of dance recitals and competitions from age 21 to 59 or 60 and I have 5 trophies to prove that I’m good at what I do. I didn’t get those trophies because everyone gets one either. I even got a few special awards too! Since that isn’t an Olympic sport yet, I’d be able to do the ones in the summer Olympics where they dance and use hoops and balls. I forget what’s it’s called but it’s rhythmic something or other. I always thought I would be good at gymnastics since I’m 4’6″ tall and weigh 83 lbs. but in high school I was terrible at it! We had the uneven parallel bars and we had to go from the bottom to the top ones like in the Olympics. Scared the heck out of me! I also think it’s because I couldn’t wear my distance glasses so I couldn’t see anything. Figure skating is also something I might be good at.
Thanks for giving us the chance to win this paint! I love the colors, especially my favorite color in the whole wide world, yellow. I hope I win!

I’ve always thought that figure skating is so beautiful and graceful. The costumes and elegance has always appealed to me. That’s what I would do in the Olympics. I love color! these paints look delish.

  11. Laura S

I love ice skating!!! Only hypothetically, unfortunately, the first time I tried I basically held the wall the whole time…..

  12. Kristina R

I’m not a winter person so it would be summer Olympics for me and I would compete in the archery.

  13. Angela J Short

I would like to try the luge, the downhill fast thing. Pretty paints. Have a happy day! angielovesgary2 atgmail dotcom

  14. Isabel

Though I am terrible at skiing, I would enjoy Ski jumping! I can imagine how it must feel to be in the air and then land perfectly.

  15. Robin P

I would want to be a figure skater and compete in the couples competition. They are so in sync with each other and make skating look effortless.

If there was an olympic event for procrastination, I would win gold for sure! Since there isn’t yet, because the powers that be also procrastinate – my olympic sport would be curling because I think that is the only one that I may make through still intact.

  17. Maria Robinson

I’m not a “sport” person or a Winter person, I don’t like the cold at all, but if I had to pick one I would choose Ice Skating (once my feet get cold I’m done though).. They would have to add a something like competitive crafting for me to be more interested.

As a child I was a figure skater and dreamed of going to the Olympics. Sadly my dreams were dashed when our small towns arena burned down one New Years eve and I could no longer continue skating. By the time it was rebuilt it was too late to catch up with others my age. I loved ice dancing so that is probably the figure skating event I would choose to compete in.

  19. Bessie

I love to watch ice skating. We had a great rink when my children were growing up. I loved watching the skating events at the Olympics, too

  20. rebecca rivera

Ohhh!! Another great weekly question.. I think the only one I be really good at is curling. It requires sweeping and throwing..Expert!!

  21. Pam

I love to fly down a ramp on a bobsled! Thanks for the fun! And for the chance to win this gorgeous paint!

  22. Sylvia

If I had an ounce of grace and coordination, I would compete in figure skating. I am always in awe of the talent of the figure skaters!

  23. Jean E Snider

My granddaughter visited last weekend and we watched “Cool Runnings” and both of us thought Bobsledding would be fun! When I was young and did some ice skating every winter I thought I could be a figure skater.
The colors of these paints are gorgeous!

  24. Juanita

I worked for the US Olympic Committee for nine years and if I was an athlete, I would participate in the 440 relay. Always loved watching them run!

  25. Laura Harrison

If you could be an Olympic athlete, what sport would you compete in? I love figure skating. I love watching figure skating, that is. I’ve only been in ice skates once when I was a kid. The ice broke at the edge of the lake and I fell in. My older brother and sister got in a whole heap of trouble for not keeping an eye on me.

  26. Veronica North

I’d have to go with figure skating! So pretty, but takes such strength. I am chronically ill and disabled, so it’s definitely way out of my league!
