Thanksgiving is almost here and time is running out to send out your cards. Remember to send one to those you know who may not be getting together with family or friends this year. Let them know that you are still thinking of them with this wonderful and easy to make card.
Begin by creating a 5” x 7” card base. You can choose any color of cardstock that you like. This card was created using kraft cardstock to give it a more fall look.
Next, cut a piece of patterned paper that measures 4 ½” x 6” and a piece of brown cardstock that measures 4” x 5 ½”. The patterned paper shown in the picture is from the Echo Park Dots & Stripes Fall Paper Pad.
Roughly tear a piece of cardstock that measures 4” wide. The length of the paper can vary as the look wanted is just to achieve the rough edge at the top. This piece ended up measuring approximately 2 ¼” x 4”.
Add a light green and a dark green ink onto your craft mat and pick up the ink using your blending tool.
Add the ink onto the paper using a circular motion to begin with and then using the only the edge of the blending tool and an upward motion to create wisps of taller grass.
Attach all of the pieces to the card base using a tape runner.
Die cut several pumpkins using your die cut machine and the pumpkin die. Die cut the sentiment using the Give Thanks Die Set by Sizzix. Cut a piece of fence, as well. This fence was done using a piece of patterned paper to give it a textured look.
Also, punch several fall leaves.
Attach the pieces together using a glue pen.
Finish the card by adding the sentiment to the inside.
Hurry! Time is running out to send someone this special card to brighten their day. It’s the time of year to let others know that you are thankful for their friendship and love. This card is the perfect way to do it.

Looking so lovely the colorful art of fence. I was finding out about this types of craft idea of keeping the fence in my craft.
