Make a sweet little M & M cookie charm to add some cuteness to a keychain or wear as a necklace. This charm is super cute and easy to make.

What you need:

Roll out even sized balls of clay in M & M colors. slightly flatten each one so they look like the candy shape. Bake them at 260 for about 3-5 minutes to slightly harden them.

Roll out a ball of beige clay and flatten it, shape the edges to give it a cookie look.

Use foil to texture your cookie by pressing it into your clay.

Shave chalk in dark yellow/ tan and brown using a hobby blade. Shade your cookie with tan chalk (and a brush) around the edges leaving the top/ center a lighter color. Next use brown chalk to shade just the edge and bottom of your cookie.

Use your smallest ball end tool to create 2 eye sockets. Roll small black balls of clay the same size as the ball end and gently press into the sockets.

Press fake candy into your cookie. To make blushed cheeks shave a little red (or pink) chalk pastel and gently brush on with a small paintbrush.

Insert an eye pin and bake. I baked mine at 275 for 15 minutes. When cooled drawl M’s on candies and put shine dots on eyes with white acrylic paint and a toothpick. You will need to seal your charm so the paint wont rub off. I used Sculpey gloss glaze.
