Decorate and recycle with this easy monogram craft

These yarn wrapped letters are a great way to decorate your bedroom and add a personalised touch. You could even create a whole name, which would make a lovely gift.

You will need:

Step 1:

Use a pencil to lightly draw the shape of your letter onto the front of the cardboard, then cut it out. Get an adult to help if you have a difficult shaped letter to cut out.

Step 2:

Use the tape to stick the end of a piece of yarn to the back of your cardboard letter. Then wrap the yarn around the letter approximately ten times. Trim the end of the yarn and stick it to the back of the letter, then stick the end of another colored piece of yarn and begin to wrap it around the letter.

Step 3:

Repeat step 2 until the whole of the letter is covered with no cardboard showing. The corners of the letters are slightly harder to cover, you will need to use slightly more yarn and it helps to add more tape to the back two hold the yarn in place.
