These alphabet stones are fun to make and they can be used afterwards to help children with their words and spelling.
You will need:
Wash the stones in warm water to remove any dust and leave to dry. Then paint the letter A onto the top of the pebble with a bright colored paint that contrasts with the color of the stone. Then leave to dry.
Once the paint has dried, use another color paint to decorate the rest of the stone around the letter. Create a pattern using dots or dashes. Leave the stone to dry.
Decorate the rest of the stones with the remaining letters of the alphabet using a range of different colors. If you want to create words with your stones it will help to create at least two of each letter, even more for the vowels.
