Give mom a bouquet of flowers this Mother’s Day with this beautiful card. It will brighten the day of any mom and show her your love. You won’t believe how easy these tulips are to make! Once you see how you will want to make many more so you can give mom a bigger bouquet of flowers.
First die cut and emboss a piece of cardstock using your favorite die and embossing folder with your die cutting/embossing machine.
Create a 4” x 6” card base from cardstock using your paper trimmer and scoring board.
Also, use the paper trimmer to cut a small edge off of the piece that you die cut in the first step as shown.
Cut a 3 7/8” x 5 7/8” piece of patterned paper and a 3 5/8” x 5 5/8” from another color of patterned paper. Attach those and the embossed piece to the card base using a tape runner.
Create the stem and leaves for the flowers. This is the Sprigs die by Spellbinders that has had some of the leaves cut off to make the stems for the tulips. You can, also, use stem from a set of flower dies.
Now create 9 raindrops (the Martha Stewart Cloud Icon Punch was used to make these) for the three tulips or more if creating more than three. Use a glue pen and attach two of them to the third raindrop to create the flower and then use it to attach it to the stem. Attach the flowers to the card using the glue pen, too.
Create a bow using one of the fun stickers or one of the numerous other bow items to choose from at Create for Less.
Show mom your love this Mother’s Day by giving her this bouquet of flowers card. Don’t stop there, though. Use the tulip raindrop technique to create flowers for any of your cards. They’re not just for Mother’s Day, but just like a mom, they sure brighten the day for everyone! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there!

Beautiful card. I like how you made the tulip.
