Create a cute clay charm of one of your favorite foods

Create an avocado charm with polymer clay that is quick and easy to make. You can even make an extra half without the seed for some cute best friend charms.

What you need

Combine white and green clay to make a mint green shade.

Shape the mint green clay into a pear/ bike seat shape with the underside pressed to your work surface for a flat bottom.

Flip your work over so the flat side is facing you. Use the medium sized ball detail tool to create a pit.

Shave some green chalk with your hobby blade. Shade (with a dark green) the flat edge of your avocado. Blend it to the center and use lighter shades of green chalk if you wish.

Combine brown and green clays to make a dark green shade.

Flatten out the dark green clay into a thin sheet with your hands, a roller or clay machine.

Wrap the outside of your avocado with the dark green clay for it’s skin. use your hobby blade to trim the edged off.

Use your smallest detail tool to texture the avocado skin. Just simply put dots overlapping all over the skin.

Roll out some brown clay the same size of you medium ball tool. Gently press it into the pit. Insert an eye pin (trim if needed).

Bake at 275 for 15 minutes.
