DIY a cute veggie charm for your BFFs!

Make a cute veggie charm with polymer clay. Keep it as the classic “3 peas in a pod” or change it up and add more peas to represent your children or family.

What you need:

I mixed a little bit of yellow with green to create a lighter pea color. Roll some pea green clay into 3 equally sized balls.

Flatten out a thin elongated oval shape with green clay. (a clay machine or roller is the easiest route but you can do this with your hands too.)

Use your smallest detail tool to make eye socket indentations on each pea. Roll out black balls of clay the size of the end of your detail tool for eyes. Gently press the eyes into the sockets. (you can skip this part and use paint to add on eyes after baked)

Fold your pod over your peas into a taco like shape.

Pinch the top and bottom of your pod. Insert an eye pin and bake. I baked mine for 15 minutes at 275.

I decided to use black acrylic paint to add on smiley faces instead of clay and found it easier than my previous tutorial. Dip a toothpick into some paint for a super fine smile line. (if you decide to use clay for the smile add it on before baking.)
