Glittery Mason Jar Vase

Create a glittery vase for an occasion or just for fun

Display some flowers or keep your pens handy with a fun jar vase that sparkles as much as you do! This is a super easy project for any crafter and your home or desk will be sparkling in no time.

What You Need:

How to Make It:

Start by painting your jar. I used acrylic paint, which is fine because you’re covering the whole thing with glitter later, but spray paint is probably best for this project. Give it at least 2 layers and let it completely dry.

Paint a little bit of Mod Podge onto the jar and sprinkle some glitter over it. you can cover only part of the jar, tape it off to create stripes, or just cover the whole jar like I did. Set it aside to dry completely.

Cover the jar again with your Mod Podge and sprinkle another layer of glitter on top. Pay special attention to any spots you may have missed. Let dry at least a few hours to overnight.

Give your glittery jar one more coat of Mod Podge to seal all of that sparkle so you don’t get it all over your hands. Let it dry one more time.

Screw just the outside part of the lid on top to finish and fill with flowers or pencils!

Fantastic idea. I have all of the above in my craft room and will make one this weekend with my grand daughter.
