Make a fun snapping crocodile out of a wooden clothespin.
You will need:
- Spring Clothespin
- Paint (green, red)
- Paint brush
- Small googly eyes
- White paper
- Black pen
Paint the whole of the outside of the clothespin with the green paint and leave to dry. Then paint a wiggly line on the top of the clothespin with dark green paint.
Hold the clothespin open and paint the inside red. Hold it open until the paint dries otherwise it will get stuck shut!
Cut two thin strips of white paper the same length as the part of the clothespin that opens. Then cut triangles out of these to form the shape of sharp teeth. Glue these either side of the clothespin.
Draw two small dots on the end of the clothespin to form the crocodiles nose. Then stick two googly eyes to the crocodile slightly further up.
