A great farmyard animal craft idea for kids – learn how to make a pig planter out of an old plastic bottle!
- Large plastic bottle
- Paint (pink, white)
- Felt (dark pink, black)
- Googly eyes
- Glue gun (or PVA)
Cut around the bottle about 6 inches up from the bottom. Remember to leave two triangles for the pig’s ears!
Mix up a shade of pink that you want your pig to be, then paint the whole of the bottle and let it dry.
Cut out the shape of the nose and the inside of the ears out of the pink felt, and the shapes for the nostrils out of the black felt. Then stick the nostrils onto the pink nose shape.
Stick the felt shapes you made in step 3 on to the plastic bottle and colour the feet in with a pink pen and it’s ready to put a plant in!
