I work in an air-conditioned office. On the weekends, we like to head to the local Y pool!

Great day to ask that question- it is going to be a roaster here in the south! I put on my bathing suit and sit in the garden tub with 6 inches of water in it and all three of my small dogs sit in it with me and I knit and tell them stories. Oh yeah, I also have “sweet tea” while doing this. If anyone ever saw this, I would be taken away for sure!

Sitting in front of the fan or heading into my air conditioned craft oasis are my favorite ways to cool off but this Summer is going to be different because my 4 year old granddaughter is living with us and I am sure she is going to want to be in the neighbor’s pool as much as possible! Glad Kathy, our neighbor, loves Jenna almost as much as we do!
PS< I will also be VERY jealous of whoever wins this if it isn't me! Fingers crossed!

Sitting in the shade outdoors (we usually have a good breeze); otherwise our house stays cool without using much a/c

For yard work, we try to get done before it gets too hot in the mornings. If not,we finish up later in the evening.

Air conditioners in the living room and bed room windows… And always a glass of ice cold lemonade!!

When possible stay inside with the AC and work on projects! When I must be outside I put a wet bandana around my neck. Ahh, the magic of evaporation!

I try to stay indoors near the ac. We just got a newer home last fall and it has a window ac, not central, like we were used to. It’s an adjustment to get fans in the right places to keep the air moving! IF it seems to warm indoors, I go outside and work up a sweat doing something in the yard and come back in and it seems sooooo much cooler.

Well, living in NW Georgia, it does get pretty hot here and there are no beaches nearby, so I just crank up the a/c and freeze out my son who lives downstairs from me. I am also at the age of hot flashes, so occasionally in the winter, I will just open the window in my bedroom and enjoy the cold, crisp winter air.

Staying cool is a priority, here in the south. I tend to stay in the air conditioned places as much as possible. Popsicles and iced tea help, too . . .

Right now our new digs stay cool pretty well with just windows and fan but I’m sure before long it’ll be a/c.

I find if I drink lots of ice cold water and keep a fan on I stay cool. I also only cook outside in the summer.

I stay cool in the summer by staying indoors.

I love the yarn. My grandaughter just learn to crochet. She made me a tea coaster.

I stay in doors or on our covered back back deck, I have sheer curtains hanging up and a fountain. Pretty color yarns.

My kids and I stay cool by making all kinds of homemade Popsicles together. Pudding pops, yogurt pops, etc…
