If your little ones are stuck inside during the rain showers, or even with bad seasonal allergies this month, here are some fun crafts and activities to help them engage with and enjoy all that April showers have to offer!

These raindrop sun catchers are easy to make with the whole family. Older kids can cut their own raindrops while toddlers can do the decorating. These will look great in the windows on rainy and sunny days alike.

Being able to carry their own umbrellas and wear rain boots makes a short walk in the rain with little ones a fun adventure. When it’s time to come back inside, these 3D umbrella cards will help make the transition from outside to the craft room just a little easier. If you’d like to add a literacy aspect to this craft you can invite older kids to write a few lines about what they love about Spring or about rainy days and younger kids can tell you what to write.
