Share in someone’s dreams with this fun dreamcatcher card. Just like a real dreamcatcher, this one hangs in its own window. Use it to send a congratulations for a new job, a thinking of you for someone who is looking for their dream or any idea that you would like to share a special message.
Begin by cutting 2 dreamcatchers using the Dreamcatcher Die by Spellbinders and a die cutting machine. One piece should be cut from patterned paper (Snap Color Vibe by Simple Stories shown here) and the second one cut from a matching solid color cardstock.
Lay a piece of twine or thread in the glue. Jewelry making thread works great for this.
Lay the patterned paper die cut on top of the other and make sure the glue adheres both pieces. Lay it aside to dry.
Remove the patterned paper from the front and place the twine on the top of the card making sure to center it. Leave some of the twine to hang out above the card. Add some permanent tape from a tape runner around the edges of the patterned paper and adhere it back onto the base making sure to line up the die cut areas. Trim the excess twine off from the top.
On the inside of the card stamp the word “dreams” several times in different directions so that it can be seen through the front of the card when it is closed. Be sure to leave room in the center to stamp the words, “come true.” Alphabet stamps are perfect to use for this.
Share the joy of someone’s dreams or send a little encouragement with this great dreamcatcher card. Tell someone that dreams really do come true with this as a perfect reminder of it. Simply send this card to someone special and let the dream begin!
