chicken pot pie- home made. It is filling, and this year, we changed to a whole wheat crust to make it healthier. Reduced the fat and changed the fat that is in it to Coconut oil. It really hits the spot on a cold day and is a complete meal! Also, this Christmas, we made Apple Pie Bread (please DO look it up on google) for gifts and it got RAVE reviews- it is like Apple pie AND bread. Delicious! Happy Friday to you and thanks again for all you do!

My favorite go to recipe is cream of mushroom shepard’s pie in a crust with multiple cheeses! It tastes like Heaven on Earth!
Brown your ground beef, drain grease then mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup in with frozen peas and pour into pie crust. Mix 1 can cream style corn and 1 can whole kernel corn and pour on top of beef mixture.Put 1 cup shredded mozerella cheese, 1 cup colby jack cheese and 1 cup shredded monterey cheese and put over corn. Make mashed potatoes and add 1/2 packet of Ranch seasonings to it. Spread over cheese layer and place in 425 oven for app 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top!
For dessert we make chocolate raviolli. Use wonton wraps and put 1/2 tsp in center then fold diagonally and seal with egg mixture. Cook in fryer until golden brown ( 15-20 seconds). Sprinkle with a dusting of confectioner’s sugar and drizzle with a little bit of melted chocolate! YUMMY! A meal fit for a king and queen!

We recently collected copies of our favorite childhood recipes from my grandmother for use in our own families. At the top of the list for me are her recipes for shrimp and dump cake. I make the shrimp several times a month since my son loves seafood. The dump cake every time I need to bring a dessert.

My grandma’s recipe for macaroni and cheese. Though it somehow doesn’t have grandma’s special touch, it still brings back special memories of childhood.

Wraps that I make on my Foreman Grill. Cooked skinless chicken cut into strips, bacon, feta cheese, and tomato, throw it in and wrap it up, toast it on my grill. My family LOVES them.

I like Mark Bittman’s Chocolate Mousse recipe. Wish I had some now. Everybody’s recipes sound soooo good.

    Homemade beef stew!
*Braise your beef and an onion.
*In a separate pot, cook peeled, cubed potatoes and fresh carrot chunks.
*Add a bag of frozen, mixed vegetables to the potatoes and carrots before they’re fully cooked.
*Add salt, pepper and Au-Jus seasoning packet mix for flavoring.
    Serve with crackers or cornbread.
    Wonderful winter meal!

Mine and my family’s favorite is Curry Chicken with potatoes. My kids and hubby loves to eat it with tortillas and a dollop of sour cream.. I like it with steamed white rice and a few slices of avocado. So good everyone is passed out before you know it.

My go-to recipe is the basic pancake recipe in the Better Homes and Garden cookbook 🙂 It’s the same recipe my parents used to make Sunday breakfasts.

Our favourite go-to recipe is marinated pork tacos—just marinate thinly sliced tenderloin in honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, olive oil, and chipotle powder—then saute & serve in shelves with your favourite taco toppings. That or a meatza, from the book Real Life Paelo, with prosciutto, pear, & arugula topping. Kind of hard to beat, and always a winner!
