One of my favorite parts of holiday decor are the string lights. As a result, I have way too many that don’t get used enough. Lights can make DIYs even more beautiful and special. Here are some beautiful ideas using string lights to give your crafting an extra glow.

Add some string lights to a pretty wreath! I love the way that the light looks glowing through the intricate holes in the doilies.

As a kid, I would have loved to see these oversized candy lights hanging at my birthday party. Actually, can I just have them at my next birthday party?

It’s amazing how a little tulle and lace can make normal string lights seem so pretty and delicate. I can’t really think of an occasion where I wouldn’t love to see these as a decoration.

How about you? Have you updated any string lights? They’re so fun to have around, I’d love to see if you’ve come up with anything. If you’re inspired by these crafts, head to the Craft Trends Pin Board for even more string light ideas.
