If you have a creative child around, there are many great craft supplies to keep them busy, and keep you worry-free. Keep the right supplies on hand, and crafting with your kid can be fun and help you build memories that can last well into their lives.
Tissue Paper is one of our favorite craft supplies because we always have some on hand in a variety of colors and because it is so easy to work with. There are so many crafts to be made with tissue paper that you can find projects for kids of every age. We like to craft as a family when we’re getting ready for a party, or on a rainy day. It’s nice to have materials that everyone can use and make their own!
Tissue Paper Flowers can be used to decorate for parties, to adorn accessories and clothing and in scrapbooking. These are simple enough for everyone to help with.

This next project is meant to inspire older children and adults, but if you’re having a family crafting night the adults can follow this tutorial or design their own window stars, and you can cut out star shapes with contact paper and give young children a bowl filled with a variety of colors and shapes of tissue paper and let them decorate their own stars. A row of unique tissue paper stars would look lovely lining the patio doors.
