The cute little gift tag will win anyone’s heart. Whether it’s on a gift to show your “honey” some love or a house warming gift of tea and honey for someone new in the neighborhood, this little bee will be busy warming hearts. This bee in meant to be enjoyed so be sure to have some fun creating him!
Stamp the jar onto the honeycomb making sure that the lid is above the embossing. The lid should be lined up with an untouched area of cardstock. The stamp is lined up with the folded edge on the left.
Cut around the stamped area, but do not cut on the fold.
Now add some light brown ink down onto the craft sheet and move it onto the edges of the jar using a circular motion again.
Layer some yellow ink on top of the brown to give it a golden color.
Use some of the twine to tie a bow and attach it over the pieces of twine.
Now, place a stick of the Mod Podge Melts into a high temp glue gun and carefully fill the bee in the mold. NOTE: You will need a high temp glue gun that is a .28 in size so the Melts fit correctly into it.
Allow the Melts to harden and then remove from the mold.
Finish the bee by painting some yellow stripes on the body using a small paint brush and yellow acrylic paint.
The next time you need a gift tag for that special gift create this cute little bee tag and it will be the “buzz” of the party. Attach it to a box of favorite tea and a jar of honey for the perfect gift for anyone including yourself. Don’t be afraid make a gift for you to enjoy, too!
