Create one of-a-kind sculptures using found shells from your summer vacation. We gathered all different shape and sized shells from the shore and I had my little one use her creativity to glue the shells together in a fanciful shape. I love the interesting shape and it is modern enough to sit on a shelf in the house and looks like a purchased sculpture.
Start by washing the shells and drying them well. Create the sculpture by gluing the shells together using the quick dry glue. If you use hot glue and get it onto the shells it doesn’t look as pretty when painted.
Let the glue dry completely.
Once the glue is dry, give the sculpture a coat of paint. I used white because of its clean feel, but gold might be fun too. Let the paint dry, add another coat if necessary. Now, you have created a modern sculpture from vacation souvenirs.
