To try to keep cool, I try to wear the lightest clean clothes I can find, stay out of the sun and in the shade when I’m outside, and stay indoors in the air conditioning when possible. I also try to exercise early in the morning before it starts getting hot.

I try to keep as cool as possible by staying hydrated, doing ad many outdoor activities for later in the afternoon/evening if possible. By wearing light colored and light weight clothing and by keeping my hair off my neck as often as possible. Now that I am in my forties I am less tolerant of the heat and found that these two things help me stay as cool as I can. Also I keep a very small portable hand fan in my purse along with wet wipes, water and a spray water mist by eve ion.

Hate the heat and humidity! Love to stay inside with the air conditioning and craft.

Sorry for my first comment. It was a rough draft and It sent somehow. I just know that now I’m in my forties I am less tolerant of the heat. Must be changing hormones. Lol. I try to do as many of my errands in the evening if possible. I stay hydrated and keep a bottle of ice water with me at all times. In my purse I have wet wipes, a mister of Evian, and a small hand held fan. And wearing light colored and lightweight clothing helps too. But trying to stay in an air conditioning works even better. Good luck and stay cool.

Day-to-day, I keep cool by running the evaporative cooler all night (works well for the Utah desert climate). About once a month, we take a camping getaway to the nearby mountains. Only an hour or two’s drive will give us sometimes 10 degrees or more of comfort! 🙂

We normally go out for ice cream on evening when it is hot and muggy. i normally get something coffee flavored and my hubby gets his strawberry cheesecake blizzard. yummy! It that doesnt work, we drive 8 mins to my parents house and sit on their patio and wait for a breeze to come while we chit-chat! And of course there is always the 2-3 shoewers a day =)

I go into our unfinished basement and craft all day. Unfortunately, I also keep cool down there in the winter.

Indoors. I stay indoors. I only go out in the heat if I am dragged kicking and screaming.

Seeing that it has been averaging around 104 here daily since March, and not even chilly since Christmas, I try and stay inside in the AC as much as possible. And I may have been known to buy a bag of ice and literally drive around with it on my chest. Yes I do have a picture, sadly. We hide from April to Oct at least. People say it’s even to hot to go to the community outdoor pool here. But hey then I have more time in my craft room. Thanks for sharing goodies with us.

I try to keep cool by drinking lots of cold drinks and taking a siesta in the afternoon to drop my body temp.

Thanks for the chance to win. I would love to win these beads!

Living in a rural area of the Northeast as I do, it is fairly easy to stay comfortable. My craft area is set up in the basement which is always cooler. If it gets too hot in house I just go downstairs and work on one of my projects.

The only way to truly stay cool in Texas is to remain indoors, with an air conditioner running at all times!

I used to be able to work outside any hour of the day and not really feel the heat, but as I have gotten older, I notice it much more. I try to do my gardening during the evening hours, but sometimes I just have too much outside work to do. I like to drink iced coffee and tea during the hot months. I find I spend more time with the air conditioner and fans running.

Under the shade in the hammock with my favorite podcast or a crochet project and a glass of lemonade
