I have noticed the increased popularity of feathers used in home decorations. I think they add a simple elegance to a table setting. Place them in a mason jar and there is your classy center piece for Thanksgiving. The project is simple enough for little kids, but also trendy enough for the teens.
Start by taping off the design you want on the feather. For one, I taped off the top section in a “V” and another I did a diagonal. Gently brush the gold paint on the feather, start along the tape and move the brush towards the edge of the feather.
Let the paint dry completely. Carefully remove the tape and reveal the simple beauty of the newly painted feather. Place all the feathers in a jar and you’re done.
