Easy DIY Mummy Candle. Tutorial at ThinkCrafts.com

I’m a big believer that children should be given the opportunity to make crafts that are more than paper plates and construction paper. This project is so simple but results in a pretty awesome looking Halloween decoration. My daughter loves her mummy and was very excited that she made it.  No glue makes this a craft that took less than 5 minutes to make.

On a clean jar, use the glue dots to stick the eyes to the jar.

Next, start at the bottom and wrap the jar with the medical tape. When you get to the eyes, wrap the tape over just the very bottom of the eyes and the very top of the eyes, so it looks like the eyes are peeking out. Finish wrapping the jar all the way to the top and cut the roll off.

Use a tea light, battery operated candle or a glow stick to bring your mummy to life at night!
