We are Lego crazy in our house. Legos are everywhere. On shelves, on desks, in hands, under feet (ouch!). So it only makes sense that a crafty mama would look for ways to bring Lego into our projects! And whether you are planning a Lego party or just want to have a little afternoon fun craft time, these are some of the best ideas out there for Lego themed crafts.

Homemade Lego Puzzle Book - Kids Activities Blog

Homemade Lego Puzzle BookKids Activities Blog

This brilliant Lego puzzle book is like tanegrams for little hands. Perfect for road trips or a quiet bag, all you need is a handful of Lego shapes and a camera and you can print out pages and pages of puzzles for your kiddos to ponder over and put together. And while this example uses Duplo blocks, you could get more and more complicated, with blackout shapes (so they can’t see individual bricks) or smaller pieces as they get better and better. So clever!

Lego Soap - Germantown Avenue Parents

I’m sure this Lego soap bottle was put together as part of an overall party theme, but my kids would love it everyday. And I bet If I made the Legos inside prizes for keeping their hands clean, I’d see a whole lot more hand washing that I do now, and with less nagging too! This would be so fun in a kids bathroom or at a party!

Lego Cutouts - Germantown Avenue Parents

How We Survived Our Lego Party – Germantown Avenue Parents

It’s like paper dolls! Except Legos! This is such a brilliant craft for a party, a class or just an afternoon of fun. Cut outs of Lego men and piles of eyes, clothes, hats, and stickers to decorate? It’s ideal. Plus you could really do some clearing out of little bits in your craft cupboard. Buttons, sequins, random scraps of fabric or paper. Just thing how busy this could keep them. A little glue stick and they’ll be occupied for hours!

Have you done any Lego themed crafts? Let us know about them! And send us a picture, we’d love to add it to our board! And check out all our Lego craft ideas on our Craft Trends Pinboard.
