If I had a million dollars, I would open a home for either homeless elder people or children. I would prefer children but have seen such a need for older people left without anyone to care for them.

I think 250k towards arts and music in our area high schools, pay down the house so I can work only part time, and then create the most *blinged out* craft room, ever!

  8. Christine :

  10. Marie :

I would pay off all my debts and my parents debts. I would then set up a huge Education Savings Plan for my 7 yo DD, make some large donations to my fsve charities, build myself the most AWESOME craft room, and invest the rest!!!

Pay off debts first. Donate some to my missionary friends. Then take a nice long trip to all the places that I’ve wanted to visit.

  15. Darcy Szecsy :

I would invest it well enough to quit my job to start crafting full time. This way I could sell items at craft fairs but not have to worry about making a living doing it.

  16. Gina H. :

I was just robbed by my siblings of my inheritance. I have thought of a million things I would use the money for. I would donate to some missions.

  19. Mary Rok :

  20. Carmen :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 11:22 AM

I would finish paying for college for my kids, pay off the mortgage and, frivolously, make sure I had every color of ink, paper, pencils and markers possible! And stamp sets…more stamp sets. And ribbon…matching ribbon. And embellishments. Maybe I won’t get that mortgage paid off after all.

if i had a million dollars, i would pay my tithes, buy a house & car, pay for the kids tuition, help my family, then donate to orphanages, sex trafficking help centers & feeding the hungry. i would set up a craft space & begin farming, which would allow me to donate to invest an acre & the local food bank.

  24. Nancy D :

That’s a easy one! I would buy a neighborhood for my family. Everyone with their own pretty house, but all on the same street. We would all be there for each other, but still have our own space. And I would put away enough for my grand daughters college and to give her a good start in life! It’s always fun to dream :)

Would definitely set up trust accounts for the grandkids and donate some to our church’s various funds, put some in our nest egg and then take a nice trip with my hubby.

Buy a reasonable home, a newer model SUV, put away college money for my son, pay off medical bills, and keep the rest to help with future bills. :)

I would make sure my family was well provided for. Like buying homes, college funds etc. Then with what is left, I would splurge a little and travel to see the world with my hubby.

  29. Melissa Houck :

Most of my million I would invest for my retirement (not long now) but before that, I would treat myself to some much needed craft supplies.

  32. Monica :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 5:35 PM

I would start with paying off some debts, then do some work on the house. Also, Disney World. I believe that Disney World is necessary.

  35. Carol Y :

Slowly and with feeling. :) I’d buy a new house with a large multi-purpose creative room.

  36. Joy Hager :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 7:58 PM

I wish I had a million dollars! I’d pay off the bill, buy my husband the new car he deserves and pay for all 4 of the boys to go to college :)

  37. marybeth i :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 8:04 PM

pay off bills, put in new flooring and set up trust funds for the kids!

  38. Cath :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 9:00 PM

I wonder if a million bucks would get me one of everything you sell? What an order that would be. Ummm, then I’d need some more storage containers, and a studio to put it all in, too. OK, feeling a little guilty; first have to give a chunk to charity, maybe art supplies for homeless families.

  39. Amber S :

    Date: March 22, 2013 @ 9:01 PM

Start by tithing, then save it until needed- a new truck for my husband would be on the list!
