I’ve said it a thousand times. I love a lady in big jewelry.  Big jewelry means big fun and I’m never wrong about this!  You can make this any size you want, but I had to go all out.  By the way, the next time you’re at a party, look for the lady with the big jewelry and hang out with her.  She’ll be the most fun.

Cut Flashing
1.      Trace your ovals and circles from the pattern on to your aluminum flashing and cut out with your serrated blade scissors or shears.
 Hammer holes
2.     Using a piece of scrap wood as the base and your hammer and nail tap holes into each of your metal pieces according to the patterns.
Flatten Holes
3.     After you tap your holes flip over each piece and flatten the hole with your hammer by gently tapping. This will flatten and eliminate any sharp edges.
Paint Aluminum
4.     Lay your pieces out on newspaper and spray them with Silver Flash Glitter Blast and let dry.
5.     Flip the pieces over and paint the backs.
Start Linking
6.     Using the finished photo as a guide link your metal pieces together with your jump rings and a pair of needle nose pliers.
Add Chain
7.     Add 4” of chain to each end of your necklace with a jump ring and finish off the ends of the chain with a lobster claw and jump ring for a closure.
