Featured Crafter: Tracy Evans
February 3, 2013 9:38 am Featured Crafter, Needlearts, Techniques and MediumsTracy Evan’s Etsy shop The End Zone is filled with sports memorabilia, but the most eyecatching aspect are the tiny cross-stitched jerseys boasting famous athletes like Michael Jordan, John Elway, Peyton Manning, and many more. She can even produce a jersey from a photo of your favorite player’s, professional or not.
I started in 1996 with a new computer that happened to have a basic cross stitch program on it. My love of the sport of football was the inspiration for my first designs of the mini sports jerseys. They have changed and evolved over the last 17 years. They’ve been sold the world over, thanks to the internet. I’ve created mini jersey patterns from photos that proud parents have sent me. I have broadened the sports field also, with baseball, basketball, hockey and soccer mini jersey patterns. I am always trying to match up my patterns as close as possible to actual jerseys.
Currently my patterns can be found in my Etsy shop The End Zone
