Let’s start by saying that I am a huge fan of the Super Bowl. I don’t know one thing about football, but that day I am a #1 fan. The big game is coming up and a lot of people will be in front of the TV watching it, and huge parties are held in honor of this event. For your game day party this year, think of making these little cuties. A neat little party favor that can be filled with candy and hidden around the house for the little guests to find while the game is on or they can be used as noise makers, by shaking them, when your team makes a touchdown.

Start by painting the plastic eggs brown. Let the paint dry. While waiting cut a thin strip of vinyl as long as the side of the egg, then cut half inch strips to create the stitches.
Once the paint is dry open the egg and fill it with your choice of candy. Think team colors, Skittles have a nice purple and yellow for the Ravens, the M & M’s come in all colors so finding a Maroon and Gold for the 49’s might not be that hard.
Once the footballs are filled, place the long stripe first then place the short pieces over top to create the lace. Fill a bowl or hide them all over, whatever you do enjoy the game!
