Punched Heart Garland at ThinkCrafts.com

Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly, and I have been looking for an easy and festive way to decorate my house. These little paper heart garlands were just the thing I was looking for. They’re whimsical, festive, fun, and best of all: quick to make. Put your old paper scraps to use with this great Valentine’s Day project.

When I found this inspirational photo on Pinterest, I knew I had to make my own.  You need the following supplies and tools to make these garlands:

Read the Instructions after the Jump…

  1. Each scrap is cut to 1″x2″.
  2. Fold in half then punch out the heart.
  3. Apply adhesive to the inside and fold over the twine.
  4. Repeat until you have the desired length of garland.

I love that I was able to use my scraps for this project, which adds to its eclectic, crafty feel.  I draped the garlands over my favorite wire tree and I am thrilled with the results.  It is so colorful and festive!
