Valentine’s Day is coming up quickly, and I have been looking for an easy and festive way to decorate my house. These little paper heart garlands were just the thing I was looking for. They’re whimsical, festive, fun, and best of all: quick to make. Put your old paper scraps to use with this great Valentine’s Day project.
When I found this inspirational photo on Pinterest, I knew I had to make my own. You need the following supplies and tools to make these garlands:
Read the Instructions after the Jump…
- Each scrap is cut to 1″x2″.
- Fold in half then punch out the heart.
- Apply adhesive to the inside and fold over the twine.
- Repeat until you have the desired length of garland.
I love that I was able to use my scraps for this project, which adds to its eclectic, crafty feel. I draped the garlands over my favorite wire tree and I am thrilled with the results. It is so colorful and festive!
