3D Winter Word Art

The idea is everywhere for 3D canvas art. My take on it is very simple and can be made with a sheet of cardstock, letters and some glue. It’s very pretty and able to be framed without glass for a whole season of prettiness.
Supplies:
Bristol Board - Cardstock
Frame with mat - no glass
The letters that I found were pretty enough and in winter colors so I didn’t bother trying to paint them. If you want to make the whole piece of art white, then paint your letters too. I laid out my letters on a piece of Bristol Board, cardstock will work too and glued them down.

Then the snowflakes were plain chip board which could have matched my design, but I painted mine white with a little acrylic paint. Once they were dry I glued them in place. I framed the piece of art in a frame with a white mat. I took the glass out of the frame so the 3D effect on the raised letters can be seen.
I really like how the 3D effect looks and it is a simple yet stunning design. I also like using the word winter so it can be on display long after the Holiday Season has passed.
