It’s Friday!  We are celebrating the upcoming weekend by giving away some fantastic Tim Holtz Distress Stains!

Tim Holtz Distress Stains

Enter to win a prize pack of  7 colors of Tim Holtz Distress Stains by Ranger.   Colors included are tumbled glass, bundled sage, brushed pewter, worn lipstick, picket fence, victorian velvet and dried marigold.  These stains are fluid, water-based dyes for papers and other porous surfaces. Easy to use for backgrounds, layering colors and motteling.  The brushed nylon dabber top has a built-in spring valve for controlled release. The are acid free, non-toxic and fade-resistant.

    The smell of leaves burning and pumpkin spice. I have an electric warmer for candles and have different pumpkin and spices candles that I keep on the warmer, all day every day to keep my kitchen smelling like fresh baking.

    Every year we have Oktoberfest dinner. Sausages, tangy cabbage, German potatoes pancakes topped with sour cream and homemade cinnamony applesauce! The house smells like our own warm, cosy inviting Bavarian kitchen, then we know it is truly fall!

    Cinnamon! I walked into the grocery store the other day, the floral dept was right at the entrance. The firs thing I smelled was the wonderfully warm spicy smell of cinnamon scented pine cones. I’m so ready for the holidays to begin. :)

    My Grandmother had a porch that was about 4 feet off of the ground. We used to rake her leaves and jump off of the porch into them. The smell of falling leaves always brings back good memories.

    The air gets crispe making it easier to smell the damp leaves. On the inside of the housr, i love the smell of the cinnamon pine cones that are sold this time of year.

    OMG..I love fall. Its my fav season. Not sure why when the leaves are actually falling away. But they are so beautiful in New England. I know its fall when I smell burning leaves outside. Also I am reminded of fall when I smell pumkin or cinnamon candles or cooking.

    As I’m typically English, you say fall, but we say autumn lol. The air here can be damp this time of year.
    So the smell that reminds me of autumn in the UK is damp leaves burning on the bonfire.
